With a professional dance partnership founded back in 2001, Jerry and Christine are currently one of the most versatile and highly sought out couples in the United States. Building upon their extensive and professionally diverse dance careers with over a decade of experience including Modern, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Latin; in 2004, both found themselves increasingly drawn towards the intoxicatingly beautiful Argentine Tango. Possessing a mix of Modern and Classic style and known for their razor sharp technique as well as their earthy and expressive performance style, they draw in audiences with their storytelling choreographies as well as their dynamic improvisational skills; rapidly becoming one of the top couples teaching, performing and choreographing throughout the country. Jerry and Christine have been cast as principal dancers in Theatre; "Tango Connection" with The Mariela Franganillo Company NYC; "Gypsy Tango", "Amor De Tango", "Eras Del Tango"; Film and Television alongside artists such as Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony “El Cantante”, Vanessa Williams “South Beach";"Single Ladies" with Rick Fox, LisaRaye & Charity Shea. Their most current project is the comedy feature film “Tony Tango”, working as featured dancers, actors and choreographers. They have repeatedly been invited to perform at prestigious venues such as; Miami Tango Fantasy Festival, New York’s Celebrate Tango Week, Paris-France, Festival de Tango de Isabela-Puerto Rico and The International Hustle and Salsa Congress. In addition, Jerry & Christine have been featured in high profile shows with some of the world’s top partnership dance couples and performed in the same line up with Dance Stars such as Jorge Torres, Graciela Gonzalez, Karina Smirnoff (DWTS), World Cabaret Champions Billy Fajardo & Katie Marlow, just to name a few... As teachers, Jerry & Christine are highly recognized for their infectious enthusiasm; passionate energy and their genuine interest in the development of their students. Because Tango is known to be one the most intriguing and challenging dance genres in the world, J&C believe in providing a simple, clear and straightforward approach to this enigmatic dance. They focus on movement at its most basic level, creating a strong technical foundation while developing body awareness, muscle memory, alignment, pliability and power as well as placing strong emphasis on improvisation, technique and etiquette for the social dance floor.
